Willi Brenner, Minister of Adult Spiritual Formation and Care
Willi works with New Believer's who dedicate or rededicate their life to Christ. He is there for the first steps people take in their new life in Christ. After these 'first steps' he invites them to a 'Growing in Christ' discipleship group to meet other new believers. He helps jumpstart their spiritual life, and meets with them in one-on-one settings as well as group settings. Spending time getting to know them, building a safe & trusting relationship and meeting their immediate needs propels his heart for this ministry.
Willi also will be working at building people up in their faith, and making disciples of Christ in this church. He invites them into growing in their faith by learning to teach and mentor younger belivers from their own Christ-life experiences and using materials and cirriculum provided.
Willi spent four years of his life ministering to college students with Campus Crusade for Christ. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point with a degree in Interpersonal Communications in which he was led to a life of ministry for Christ.
Willi has been employed by Hope for two years after attending the church for since March of 2003. He is married to Bobbi Jo who works at Northland Christian Counseling Center here in Grand Forks. They share an office together at Hope.
Willi grew up in Wisconsin, and adores his home state and the beauty of it. He loves football, therefore the Packers determine his state of mind on some weekends.
