DivorceCare
DivorceCare is a Christian-based nondenominational support group whose mission is to help people recover from divorce or the end of a long-term relationship and deal with separation. This 13-week program focuses on helping people come to terms with this painful experience and start the healing process through the love of God.
Meetings include videos with Christian Counselors who address some of the following topics: Anger, Depression, Loneliness, Financial Survival, The Owner’s Manual, and KidCare. In addition to videos, there is small group discussion within the meeting. This group meets twice a year for 13 weeks, with one session beginning in February and another beginning in September on Thursday nights from 7 pm to 9 pm.
For more information contact the church at 772-1884.
Single Journey
We focus on experiences that support mid-life singles' relationships with each other, with God, and within ourselves. This group meets the first Thursday of the month for dinner, dining at different restaurants each time. In addition, we have one social activity per month. Single Journey is based out of HOPE, but participants come from various churches. Single Journey is an opportunity for all single, mid-life adults to gather together not only to socialize but also to support each other in many different ways.
For more information or to request a copy of our activities please contact Gloria at gloriaann_olson@yahoo.com or Cathie at crazymother5@hotmail.com.
College-Age
HOPE’s College Life encourages college-age adults to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ by engaging in quality small group discussions, applying real-world Bible studies, and partaking in epic social activities.
20's & 30's
This group provides small groups for gender specific individuals. Through this ministry we offer social gatherings for those who would like to build relationships with others in their age range. We also try to participate in service projects either through the church or through the community, such as serving at the Northlands Rescue Mission in a variety of ways.

Adult Education Commission
The AEC trains teachers and offers Adult Education classes on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights. Our focus is on the spiritual development of those who attend HOPE. If you’re interested in learning more about God and the Bible, check out a class on Sunday mornings.

Small Group Ministry
Hope Groups are designed to be a reflection of our larger church body, in a smaller setting. Here people can experience worship, build relationships with others, care for each other, serve together, and learn together.
Hope Groups consist of people who meet weekly -- some in homes while others meet at church. Groups are sometimes organized around specific needs or desires, such as women's groups, men's groups, college age groups, teen groups, or families with kids. They meet for a variety of purposes, and some groups will vary their activity over the year.
If you’re interested in learning more about being in a HOPE Group, contact Pastor Tim at 772-1884 or tfriez@hopecovenantchurch.org
